Finding a cure for aging; anti-aging; disease cures. All sound like great ideas that are, to most people, somewhere in the future or even an impossibility. The SENS Foundation and philanthropist Jason Hope believe they are not such far-fetched ideas.

In 2010, Jason Hope pledged $500,000 to the SENS Foundation for use of research into anti-aging and disease cure. The SENS Foundation is a non-profit organization built on the support of individuals, scientists, and researchers. The foundation is dedicated to finding ways to make the aging process less painful and debilitating by finding new controlling methods and cures for a wide variety of diseases related to aging, such as Alzheimer’s, cancer, Diabetes, and Atherosclerosis, to name only a few. Believing that the aging process can be reversed at the cellular level, and, therefore, diseases can be cured in much the same way, Jason Hope supports what the SENS Foundation is doing and believes it to be “essential to advancing human medicine.”²

Jason Hope is considered a champion of sorts using his early success in business to help support many humanitarian programs. He has a great interest in philanthropic efforts focusing on education, disease cures, scientific research, and biotechnology. These efforts include organizations such as the Boys and Girls Club of Metropolitan Phoenix, Worldwide Orphans Foundation, Teach for America Phoenix, and many others. Jason Hope has many interests and is passionate about anything innovative. He considers himself a futurist in the sense of where technology can lead us and what potential that technology has to make lives better for all humanity.

Jason Hope is an Arizona native who grew up in Tempe, then attended Arizona State University. There, he received his Bachelor’s degree in Finance and continued his education obtaining an MBA from ASU’s WP Carey School of Business. Soon after graduating with his MBA, Jason became internationally regarded for success in business using the mobile technology platform. Now, using his investment portfolio for most of his income, Jason supports and works with a number of programs focusing on education, along with organizations, such as the SENS Foundation, whose mission is finding new and innovative ways to control and/or cure disease. He believes “their work will ultimately change the face of the healthcare, biotech, and pharmaceutical industries and, with his monetary support, will help all of humanity.”²
